I would like to find information on how to's for a Canon Innova 350CD, i.e. Open the notebook to change the CMOS battery, upgrade the memory, bios, hard drive and O/S. Anyone know where I can find this information?

You need to search for a motherboard manual.
Someone on here might well be able to help but for the future this sort of question might do better on the Hardware Forum.

If it was a Thinkpad, you could go download the "hardware maintenance manual." I don't work on Comcraps.

I'm quite sure "name" can read, he's a well known and knowledgeable helper around these parts. I expect he just overlooked it somehow - nobody's perfect.

Well, what I meant was "if" it was a Thinkpad--I'd know what to do. I know he said Compaq, I just don't know how to access all (or any) of the support, er I mean, dead end website
