A warning comes up and states, "Not enough memory to run this program". I have 8.23 GB of free hard drive space. Can you tell me what to do about this problem.

You're confusing memory with storage. Hard drive is storage, RAM is memory. You may have a small amount of RAM which is insufficient to multi task. Try running only that program and see if it works. Also check any programs running in the background by CTRL-ALT-DEL, and end task on any that arent necessary. Systray and explorer are necessary.

He is right, don't feel bad. I used to get the mixed up frequently.
Storage space=Your Hard Drive Amount
Memory=The amount of RAM you have

Hi John. Kjan asked what program is the one that causing to give out of memory error message. I would ask, what OS, do you have and how much memory do you have in your system? wcdoc recommends to CRTL-ALT-DEL all running programs.I would add when was the last time you defragg's your system. It could be that your swap file is fragmented. You could try the last 2 suggestions and your problem should be resolve. If not ,e-mail me.
