Comment:

When I start up my computer, The monitor dosen't display anything, and the monitor status light stays yellow.
After 3 minutes the computer shuts down. I tried the monitor on my other system(Pentium III), and it works ok. I'm thinking it may be the video card, but why would the computer shut off after 3 minutes.

Thanks
RonH

Did anyone adjust the video graphics on the computer? The video card maybe over clocked. Try to boot to safe mode and set the monitor to 640x480.

No one adjusted the video graphics. I tried to boot to safe mode, but the screen is still black, and I can't see anything.

Thanks
RonH
