Comment:

I recently reloaded Win 98 in my computer. I do not see any sound icon in my start up and hear no sound while I turn on the computer. Also I am unable to play any file in windows media player, although video is playing alright. Interestingly, I can play audio CD in my CD ROM drive. My sound card does not seem to have any problem! Any help in correcting the media player problem will be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I am using version 9.1 as it is recommended for Win 98 SE. I also tried with version 7.1. Same result. If you could help. Thanks.
