O.S = Windows 95b
233 mhz CPU
160 mb ramMy sound card is Creative Sound Blaster 16 or Awe32. It doesnt work if I enable PnP in my BIOS. I have reserved IRQ 5 for isa/legacy devices. If I disable PnP, sound card works but internet connection hangs. My DSL wont work.
I have run the upgrade s/w sbw9xup.exe/Upddrv95.exe. Still Device manager shows Sound card with yellow exclamatory mark with message "This device is not present, not working properly, or does not have all the drivers installed. See your hardware documentation. (Code 24.)
Thanks in advance for any suggestions
Venkat

You need to change the irq setting in the device manager i had this problem i set the irq to 7 and now it seem's to work fine.
You need to right click on the one with the yellow exclamatory mark on it and select properties then click on the tab that say's RESOURCES and untick automatic setting's and select a different one till you get one that work's.
I hope this help's

It doesn't work for me. I dont have any other free IRQ than 5.
