Earlier today, my right mouse button stoped working. If I click on my desktop, the taskbar, a Web page, a file, or anything, no context menu appears. I can, however, make it display if I press shift+F10 or the context menu button.
The only thing that I remember installing is WinAMP3, so I don't think that I have a virus, but I might be wrong. I also have not knowingly changed any settings either.
Any solutions?

first, I'd suggest restoring a registry
if this is windows 98
use
scanreg /restore
from dos outside of windows
Registry Help

Well, there's always the chance that the little switch under the button is broken or has some problem or other.
If it's a mechanical mouse (with a mouse ball), sometimes dust etc can get in there and prevent the switch from clicking. Easy fix.
If it's an optical mouse, then either the switch is bad, or else it is, after all, a software problem.

Mouse software sometimes gets screwed up by other soft. Open mouse properties sheet, swap right and left buttons, hit apply. OK , then swap them back again.
NO luck?
Reinstall mouse drivers software.
Still no luck?
mouse died!
Get new mouse.
