No Recycle bin W98

Hi,Can anyone please advise on the following,When I delete any file ect.in Win98 it does not show up in the recycle bin.Looking at properties the box is not ticked to remove files immediately.Many thanks.

If your files are hidden then your recycle bin will not show up as it is a hidden system file. To find it:

Go to:
My computer/view/folder options/view.
Select: view all files.
Click apply.
Click ok to exit.
Now you should have a recycle bin next time you enter your C drive.
