I have been working on a friend's computer to install Windows 98. His computer is a 586 AMD computer, and I formatted the C: drive to get the computer ready for installing Windows 98. After I put in the Windows 98 CD and boot disk, an error message that says 'I/O error replace system disk and press any key' will show up on screen. What problems could cause this?
