I have just fitted a Gigabyte motherboard (GA-7ZXE) with an Athlon Xp1800 CPU with it's fan, 256mb, graphics card, plugged in the cables from the case, power and reset leads for know.
The problem is that when I power on the PC the CPU/fan and case fan work fine, with a green LED light on the motherboard, but I get no display on the screen. The monitor light stays yellow. The monitor, graphics card, memory work fine but I don't get a display.

Your CPU isn't running. Did you remove the Bios disable jumper?

may be the video card is damaged ,try it in another mb.Is it even coming up in post,if it is go to bios set up to see if agp is turned on.did you pull out the locking peg before installing the video card and pushing it back in? Good practice is to check all connection.make sure everything is seated.Loose memory or broken socket on memory, letting it spread a part can keep post from happening.we need more enfoe.

Thanks for all the response, even 3 & 4 :)
The issue was basically the motherboard has problems, the AGP, CPU etc were unable to function.
I changed the motherboard and kept all the exact components and then PC ran fine with no problems at all.
