I have a Dell PII, 128 SDRAM. When I power up I get following: DHCP MAC ADDR: 00 50 04 AD 1E 08 DHCP . . . . . | No boot filename received. Network boot aborted. Operating System Not Found.
When I unplug the network cable I still get Network boot aborted & Operating System Not Found, it is just preceded by PXE-E61 media test failure, check cable.
I have booted from a McAfee floppy but get message: No Target Drive. Is there anyway to bring this computer back from the dark side?

Sounds like you are booting from your network device, and something is not functioning on with the network. I would check your setup and see if you can change your boot device to be your floppy then hard drive. If this is a new pc, your system may be setup to download everything upon booting.

I have bought it only 2 months ago. When I power on the machine it comes up with the same error message after performing selftest: "Media test failure, check cable".
