I recently installed a 4-outlet SUB Hub. At first everything was fine, but after a couple of days my PC repeatedly hung. Only after I used a boot-log anyalyzer did I discover the hub was causing the problem. After I removed the hub, my system returned to normal.

Does that mean I cannot us a hub, or that I have the wrong unit (a USB2 HUB), or that the hub is faulty?

Hi,

Do you have a numer of devices plugged into the USB hub. If so it needs to be a powered hub.

Also some applications don't run well when sharing resources. There is a big difference in using a hub and using another port.
