Have the new Windows program and now I can't get my Image Reader Scanner software to run...am I just out of luck and need to get a new scanner or is there anything I can do to get this program to run? Thanks!

If the “new Windows program” is Windows XP, you are probably out of luck with your Image Reader Scanner software and maybe with your scanner. Microsoft is very picky about what software or hardware is XP compatible.

after taking care of some xp bugs, all of older umax scanners will work fine. not so sure about the others...
