What do we think about the new look of this site? At first, I thought I had the wrong site.

I didn't find anything wrong with the old look. Change isn't always better.

I thought I had done a typo in entering the URL too, until I verified it in other browsers. I normally use non-Javascript browsers or disable it altogether, and have noticed that the headers of each message (Date, Subject, OS, etc.) come up as invisible (white on white) text. Needless to say, it gets a little annoying having to highlight all text or use a Javascript-enabled browser just to read everything.

I also dislike the trendy XP / Fisher Price look that has been plaguing web sites in recent years, but that's my personal preference.

On the plus side, I am glad the search feature finally has an option to search ALL forums. That alone is a huge improvement over the old way of re-doing search queries across multiple forums when the query is not specific to a particular OS.

At least the site has not changed much in a Lynx browser, although that isn't saying much. The "new" look is definitely making me put computing.net back into the "Lynx-only" category, as I already do with many message boards / forums on the web these days.
