There are 30+ systems on the Network, and we have a NT server. When on 10 BT the network runs with no issues. I changed the 10BT hub to a 10/100 BT 3Com 3300 TM Switch, from then on I have been getting slow connections to the server, especially when using a Database from the server. All the NIC cards are 10/100 3C905x and few Intel 8255xx. Even when I forced the NIC's to 100 BT & run the network I get very slow responses. I also tried to force the switch to 100 BT and in full Duplex Mode but still no luck. Can anybody PLEASE...Please... give me few pointers to this problem. Thanks DD

I had a similar problem on my 4 PC network. I have a LinkSys 10/100 switching hub and 3 10/100 ethernets. One 486 PC has just a 10T ISA ethernet. The 486 runs Linux, 2 PCs run Win98, and the other runs Win95. Full duplex on the network did not work (slooooow). I forced all the cards at 10T and now the whole network is very zippy.
