Hi ! Does anybody know the registry key ( or keys ) that hold the value of the type of network logon i.e. Microsoft Network Client or Individual session in Win 98SE. Basically what I am trying to do is to change by mean of a registry file from Microsoft Network Client ( the default after installing a network card ) to Individual Windows session. I don't have a english version installed so I don't know if it is Individual Windows session. That is how I translate it. Thanks for your help Zerostress

Open the Network applet in Control Panel, change 'Primary Network Logon' from 'Client for Microsoft Networks' to 'Windows logon'.... can't help with translation though.

I know that Keith, I want to do this by double-clicking on a registry file. I need to know which key ( or keys ) hold the value. I can change the value of the computer name, the group name and the description. All that is missing is : Which key of the registry is holding the value that change "Client for Microsoft Networks" to "Windows logon". Anyway thanks for the correct terms. Zerostress
