I have this system on my network and from time to time, when logging onto the network, it messes up the network password or maybe the login ID. I know that the user of this system and myself after repeated tries are definatly entering it correctly. But time and again we have to reboot the computer in order for the password to get excepted.
Like I said above I did verify that the coorect credentials are being entered, and have also verified that we have good connectivity as awell as replaced the cable.
I am kinda stumpd on this one, any ideas on this woul be great.

No special characters in the password. just uppercase-lowercase and numbers. Following your idea of reloading the client software if on Novell, I suppose I will try that with the windows login.
