We are developing an extranet site for file uploads. Our clients experience the "connection reset" error when they try to upload large files ( over 2 MB ) over slow Internet links. We tried different configuration on the server (IIS, JRun, Netscape Enterprise), but got similar results - "connection reset" for large files. Any input explaining this problem will be greatly appreciated. Ida.

I Beleive it stops me from obtaining answer from some things in the webb sections i what to find out about. every time I get into the Webb when i click on some items I downloaded in privously like "Jukbox" "MPS" "Jackpot" and other Programs I get mas. When I click on these these Desk Top Icon's. It come up NAVIGATOR CANCELLED. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING ON THE when in go into the WEBB What is the problem and why is my Navigator suddenly disconected. Does this have anything to do with my Freeinet Server or the Juno Server I had before. Please tell me what causeing this problem and how do I solve this? What does "NAVIAGTOR CONNECTION RESET BY PEERS" MEAN? WHO IS PEERS.

I have a problem when I'm trying to do a"put" in a file. First step: a: FTP followed by my I.P address Second step: log-in id and password. Third step: cd power.lst.a and enter Fourth step: PUT and file name + fle name response after hitting enter fromprevious step is 150 file status okay;about to open date connection NETOUT:connection reset by peer 552 requested file action aborted 8192 bytes sent in 188.95 seconds can somebody please help me w/this error message. Trying to sign on ftp and load some files from the "a" drive using the put command. Thanks for your help, much appreciated.

I receive "Netscape Error: Connection reset by peer" quite frequently when using Netscape 4.7 on my Win98 OS. It rarely if ever occurs when retreiving mail but can occur for almost any other request. I have been told, but haven't been able to verify, that the IP server OS when utilizing a JAVA ?.? script will attempt to close the socket. Netscape will interpret it as a connection error, throw away the data and send an error message.
