I can't believe that .Net doesn't run on Windows 95. I have been all through the Microsoft MSDN website, but can find no reference to why it is not supported, or even if it will run at all. The .Net Framework system requirements do not list it as an applicable client.
Does anyone know if .Net applications can be run on Win95?

.NET will not run on Windows 95. In fact you need Windows 2000/XP to develope .NET applications although they will run on Windows 98, but not Windows 95.
