Hi it's me again,
I saw a so called winsock fixup program on the net from boston university. It was to repair damaged caused by other programs or bad programmers. What it did was knock out my vxd dynamic link. The problem is VSDATA95(01)+00014F88 to DEVICE"0028"",SERVICE 800A.
How can I go about repairing this problem, as always I appreciate all the help you have given me in the past and hope you can continue to help me with this problem.

This is my continuing problem of trying to rid my computer of netsetter. I thought I was on my way when I saw this program as the solution to netsetter.

Cannot register Winsock OCX , take your pick .

Go to Control Panel , open Add Remove/Programs & click on Windows
Setup , uncheck Communications & click Apply . Now insert your Windows
install disc & tick Communications , click Apply to reinstall .

Or ,
Install ActiveX, which will install this file and several others that
you may need in the future, and also register them. Get it at:
samarac.hfactorx.org/Filez/activex602.zip

Or download ,
(v1.0)ocxreg10.zip - OCX RegTool v1.0
Quickly and easily register and unregister
OCX and DLL files in the System Registry.
Freeware. VB4 Runtime required.

Also,
http://www.mall.co.nz/utilitysoft/edit/default.htm
Go to free downloads , then
DllRegister.reg. Free
Register or Unregister DLL & OCX files by right clicking on them.

And another way .
Start > Find > Files or Folders , type in winsock .
Go to where the file is located .
Start > Find > Files or Folders , type in regsvr32
Drag and drop winsock.dll onto the regsvr32 icon.
You should get a message saying "winsock.ocx registration successful" or something
to that effect.
