DAMN, I'D TAKE THE DAMN SCANNER BACK AND GET MY DAMN MONEY BACK, DAMN RIGHT! Or calm down and look for drivers on the net, try windrivers.com or use a search engine. I just left Microteck's site, plenty of drivers for all their products, Win95, 98, parallel, scsi, etc. Look on their ftp site. Try an e-mail to them if you can't find it.

I just bought a Microteck scanner.I downloaded the driver for it already.(Its suppost to come with windows 98) Look for2605usb.exe..Or I can try to send it to you.but first you will need to respond to my e-mail.Good luck

This scanner is compatable with WIN 3.1 or 3.11 This scanner is compatable with APPLE MAC II SYSTEM 7 /16 megs. ram 32 recommended. THIS SCANNER IS NOT COMPATABLE WITH SYSTEM 7.6 OR NEWER! MICRITEK DOES NOT SUPPORT THIS SCANNER AS OF (MAY?) 1999. Sorry I got one too.....

The Microtek website has less information than does their FTP site. If you click on the FTP link, at least you can read some of the file descriptions. Also, they seem to have deleted or renamed any number of their original ScanWizard files. I remember when they were up to version 4.x prior to the Y2K time period. After Y2K, they used lower numbers like Version 2.54 so I hope that they had not regressed backwards, LOL.

Microtek has the worst support of any company online, each person has a different level of info, most reading from a list of faqs and nothing more, after 5 installations, it finally seemed ok, and then my house was robbed, replaced it with a lesser model as it took so long for me to learn how tousrse it, but I dont ever recommend this site, use their website for the latest driver, their site is a nightmare to navigate as thier webmanster updates and reformats the site, burrying helpful links, you must try each and every link, to find buried items, boy do i feel cheated, cept the nice man at best buy discounted the scanner so i will shop best buy again, and curse microtek under my breath, spread the word, microtek sucks

Purchased scanmaker 6XL Jan.2000 has not worked properly for more then 15 times in almost a year. I am using packard Bell computer windows 98 second edition.

My computer does not let me use my Microtek ScanMaker X6. I was told to contact you and you could help me with a driver for my Scanmaker. I would really like to use my scanner but cannot. Thanks for your help.
