My friend has a computer made by "Microlink" (it's old, I know) and an AMI motherboard in it. I can't get much info from the AMI website but would like to download BIOS updates. I also need to know if it will support a 1.6gig hard drive. Any suggestions?

go to http://www.sysopt.com/bios.html to find more about the BIOS and the motherboard. 1.6G HD?? If it was that old, it probably won't support hd larger than 540MB. With new add-on EIDE controller card, it should solve the problem.
