Hi,
Check out MSDOS.SYS file at the root of C:\ drive. In the [Options] section it must contain the string:
BootGUI=1
If the string is missing or contains =0, correct it.
And in some cases it can result from interrupted windows setup (for expample, if you try to reinstall and windows hands up half way and you had to reboot). In that case you need to find temporary files created by setup program on C:\. I don't remember what exactly the files are, but something like Winsetup.ini and others. Usually you can recognize them by names and creation date. Delele those files and all must be fixed.
Good luck, Igor M

I subscribed to a web site. instead of using credit card I wrote an online check.
I can't find the website anywhere now. Is there any way to track who I wrote the check to so I can find that website again??LOST ON THE NET CHRIS

I require assistance researching info concerning good sites and images for operating systems 'layers and file systems'.
If you have a good site or come accross one kindly reply.
Thank you.
