Need help w/mmsystem281 flashdrive

I'm trying to install a driver for my CruzerMini flash drive on Windows 98. I've downloaded the driver, but it won't open up. It says it needs a mmsystem281 driver installed. Can't seem to find out how to do this. I'm trying to transfer my files from old computer to my new one, and I'm hoping to use the flash drive. Any suggestions? Any help would be much appreciated. Colleen K.

Does it say that it's compatible with Win98? Some of those devices only work with WinXP.
Do yourself a favor BACKUP!

There may be an easier way to transfer your data. What OS is on your new computer ? Do you have a network card in each machine? How about a parallel port in each machine?
