I have an Alton motherboard with an ami bios.the manual says that it supports UDMA/66.How can i tell?the other machine i have with this board has a UDMA/33 hard drive,and it shaws up as pio mode 4,is pio mode 5 UDMA/66?Any help would be greatly appreciated,thanks,Chad

unless your motherboard has built in udma/66 controller then it dosent really matter unless both yuor hard drive and motherboard or controller support it ,and pio 5 proabably isnt udma 66 ,its probably somthing else
