I somehow picked up a virus or spyware or something that is causing my internet to redirect to "seemingly" miscellaneous sites. For example, if I google something then most of the time when I click on any of the links I usually get sent to a site that is a different search engine (never heard of these before either), not to the actual link that I'm supposed to go to.
I've used my Mcaffee virus scan and didn't find anything. I've used free online scans (trendmicro) and didn't find anything either. I've run latest Adaware and used CCleaner, but I still haven't found the source.
Does anyone have any idea how to troubleshoot this and target and remove whatever is causing this?
Thanks for any advice.

A-SQUARED FREE - JUST DOWN PAGEYou could also try "SpyBot Search & Destroy".
If all else fails run HijackThis then see if you can work out which are nasties by using this auto analyzer:

Whatever, don't post your HJT log on any computing.net forum unless it is requested.

I appreciate your response. I'll try those in the order that you recommended and see if that does the trick. Thanks.
