I have ran Adaware - which did not find Vbouncer...when I ran spybot Search & Destroy it found 7 Vbouncer entries and could not delete...restarted and ran Spybot on startup - it still could not delete Vbouncer. Would greatly appreciate any advice on how to remove...
Thanks!
Georgia

maybe i can help when you start windows the application run at the processes so you can't delete the vbouncer the solution is to download this program wintasks and then you will find the application that don't let you delete the vbouncer and then you must stop it by clicking on end process then try to delete what you want that's it
I wish that i helped you

Have you tried running Spybot in Safe Mode?
If that doesn't help, instructions for manual removal from PestPatrol
I'm just looking for clues at the scene of the crime

I found it also, but I don't think I have
a problem.
Just waiting for someone else to confirm
my suspicions.

I found VBouncer for this file:
C:\Windows\TEMP\GLJ5041.tmp on my PC
Spybot said it could not delete it & to allow it activate Spybot on restart to delete it.
Restarted computer & it still couldn't delete it...so I just double clicked on My Computer > View > Folder Options > View > checked Show all files clicked okay (Win. 98SE)
Searched for the file...(Win. 98SE)
Start > Find > Files or Folders and then went and deleted manually.
Restarted Spybot S&D...VBouncer does not find it anymore.
Maybe false positive?

I had the exact same experience. Spybot S&D could not remove the file.
I rebooted into safe mode and deleted the files in the C:\Windows\Temp folder. Then I emptied the trash.
Rebooted into normal mode and ran Spybot S&D again. No trace of it.
Twice this has happened.
I want to know how it gets there. Is there a secret program on my computer that reinstalls it?

Hi VBouncer victims, like myself.
I really hate these unwanted intrusions
from these stupid unrequested installations.Like most of you I tried to remove VBouncer
with many runnings and scannings of Spybot.
They could not delete it.So, I clicked and open the red VBouncer file while still in the Spybot program and it dropped down a list of all the Temporary files holding VBouncer.
Then I went to File and Folders in I.E.
searched for each one of those files that
Spybot listed (all 11 of them) and deleted them one by one.I have scanned and it is no longer on my system.
Hopefully this will help others.

It seems strange that VBouncer keeps coming back into my computer...don't visit to many webpages...The new update from Spybot did delete (fix) it this time...I just don't know how I keep getting it back.
Nothing seems affected on my PC and no new executables are trying to access the internet.

.exe"target=_new>A post from Lavasoft about it.
I Myself can't find it anymore, so I can't
say for sure what is causing it.
