I need help to get back my volume control back on the system tray which it has been missing after my computer crashes. It looks like a speaker which is normally beside the clock display time. Please help me anyone out there. Thanks a lot.
go to start\settings\controlpanel\multimedia\audio put a check that says "Show volume control on the taskbar"

Click Start, click Run, type msconfig in the Open box, and then click OK. On the Startup tab, click System Tray (SysTray.exe) so that a check mark appears next to this item. Click OK, and then click Yes when you are prompted to restart the computer.
