I work on the dealing desk and I have created a spreadsheet to calculate a number of shares my company can buy in another company. i have set the limit to be 15% share holding. What I want to do is have a blank cell for other dealings to input the number of shares that they wish to buy. if the outcome after their buy order works out that our company will hold more than 15%, then an alert screen will pop up. Does anyone know how to write this macro pls?
