i formatted my computer and now nothing works on it.I don't have sound or the right video driver nor can i load a printer on it. Everything is built on the system board.So do i need a driver for the mother board?But i do have win98 on it.

you try using the add new hardware in control panel?, if so open your pc case and find the video chip and the sound chip, site for picture view of video chip sets http://www.windrivers.com/identity/video/index.htm site for picture view of sound chip sets http://www.windrivers.com/identity/SOUND/index.htm when you find your video and sound chip get the number from the chip and get the driver downloads for that chip set...good luck as for printer you need a driver for the printer you are using
