need hacker help

Earlier tonight I noticed that I was still uploading when I was doing nothing at all. Having had netbus in the past I immediately went to download some anti-virus software and confirmed I had a friend as they continually disconneceted and shut down my comp. They eventually got bored, but i've confirmed i dont have netbus or back orifice. Anyone with any ideas? The virus software i've downloaded hasnt found anything either. Thanks

Had a similar problem. Found a port monitoring program, I believe it was at hotfiles.com. It was portmon.zip which was a zipped-up version of portmon.exe. Running it creates a continuous log of all transmission and reception activity. Reviewing the list will show the address where the data is being sent to.
In my case, on a COMPAQ system, it turned out that Compaq was behind it, using software pre-installed on the system from the factory. I disabled the culprit program and the problem stopped.
Needless to say, I will never buy another new ComCrap (as I fondly call it) system again.

I need some help too. A hacker sent me a virus and can control my computer. he's been doing this for a while, and hasn't gotten bored. He took something from me, a book i was writing that took me years to write.
