i tried to install the image reader isa on the pentium 3 and the computer did not even open when i used it pentium it worked ok i think the scsi card does not much with the pentium3 so if you have a scsi card fo the pentium 3 let me know because i cannot work Thanks Edwin

I have been trying to get my FB735 scanner to work for over one year. Since I upgraded to win98 the scanner has stopped working.... I think I am about to give up... I am getting myself a new scanner. If anyone has a solution I would be willing to give it a shot. spanish@orst.edu Thanks.

Anybody been to the Info Peripherals homepage (www.infoconnection.com)lately? I tried today (2/6/00) and I couldn't find it. are they still in busness? I have had my scanner for a while and just transfered it to a pentium running under windows 98 and can't get it to work under win 98. HELP?

I also have an ImageReader ISA. When I install the ISA card on a P3 motherboard, the PC won't even boot. I was told that the the scanner card relies on memory addresses as opposed to irq or i/o or dma. If so, is it the type of memory that conflicts with the card (72 pin DIMM(old) vs. 168 pin SIMM PC-100(new)) If anyone can help please let me know.

Having problems with a ImageReader ISA SF-600c. The scanner worked fine on a 486 running under window 3.1, however when I switched to a pentium II running windows 98 I keep getting the memory error message even though it say I have two memory locations it will use free. I have set the cards address for one of them and still get the error message. Can anyone help???

this I believe is the generic serial number that applies to all fb7 scanners. 040-2000000 you can use a link listed in a above comment to get the drivers.

This is for anyone who has an Info scanner: The company augered in. For those who have missed it.. here is the last and only (as far as I can tell) that exists for the drivers and other assorted software: http://www.djav.simplenet.com/info/ Because of this I will be retiring my old Info ImageReader soon. (Like many of you, Windows98 doesn't like the Twain drivers.) Good luck in your endeavors. Peace.

After having no luck in getting my ImageReader ISA card to work with a new Abit KT7 motherboard, I'm dumping it. It works great with older hardware, like my TX motherboard (same era as the VX boards) with a 200MMX Pentium. I'm bummed that it doesn't work with the new system; I've never had a problem with it. I have the original doc, cd, interface card and scanner of course. If anyone is interested I'm hoping to get $25 for it not including shipping. Yes, you can get USB scanners for a song and a dance now, but if you don't have USB you likely have the older hardware that this thing is compatible with anyway.
