Please can somebody help me? I'm looking for drivers for HP ScanJet 6100C since there isn't one on HP page, please send me drivers for win98 or page to download it.
thanks

You want to make sure you get the correct driver and of course the Manufacturer is always going to have the specific one for your machine, so I would recommend going back to www.hewlettpackard.com and look for support on the main page, once you get past that you will note they have and area for drivers. Good luck

I think that they are built into the Deskscan software. My instructions said to install that first and then install the scanner. Mine is a SCSI version.
Also, occasionally when I remove it through the device manager, it will ask for the Windows 98 CD and I send it to the Windows 98se files that are stored on one of my hard drives.
I am not too crazy about the Deskscan software and would like to find a replacement but don't know if any other software will work. It is very hard to see the previewed image before the final scan. Looks like it is a necessary program though in order for the scanner to work.

That driver is available on the HP Support page. Just go to the link below and type in Scanjet 6100C, click the arrow button & the driver is there for various Windows Systems' Here's the link:

Choose the correct driver for your Windows version.

Are you missing "drivers" or the "bundled
software" ? If you don't have the software
you can download all the drivers you want and
that printer will never work properly. If you are missing the software phone H.P. and they will send you the C.D.'s by Fed.X. you will have it in two days.It is a 900# so you will be charged for the call.greg
