PLEASE HELP ME!
My scanner is a second-hand flatbed ImageReader Director model FB745(manufactured by Ultima Electronics Corp, which went out of business a long time ago and never got around to upgrading their driver for Windows 2K). There was no disk, so I downloaded a driver for my model(FB745.exe)from a web site that had a variety of drivers from that same company. My system is running smoothly (98 megs of ram, 20 gig hard drive), my connections and other equipment are working fine, I have all the right connections and no device conflicts or interference. The only problem is that I get errors about the inability to open Twain source or something like that, and when I went into the control panel to add new hardware, my scanner did not appear. When I ran the hardware setup wizard it tried to find an .inf file but it wasn't there. So a scanner does not appear among the list of devices installed on my computer.
Their last driver upgrade was for windows NT, I think, but I have windows 2000. Is there a more recent driver for this scanner that works and has this .inf file?
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide.

off of the web;
Note: some drivers might be compatible with www.Avision.com driversFor example the Avision AV260C probably uses the same driver as the FB745.

windows 2000 questions should be posted in the windows 2000 message forum.
if the product doesnt have an update driver i would try the nt driver(if it exists). if this doesnt work you will not be able to use this scanner any longer.
Try this avision NT driver also. It may or may not work.
The link is to the zip file which conatins drivers.
