need a modem driver that works

I have an internal US Robotics Sportster (internal) modem. I have recently upgraded to Windows 98 (from 3.1) and the operating system thinks it is a 14.4kB modem. Unfortunately the installation diskette is corrupted. Can anyone help?

Go to USROBOTICS and down load from 33.600, 28.800,or 56k. Try setting up modem again select from list. Or remove the IRQ and COMP. jumpers and reboot. (Had same problem)

There is a driver on the WIN98 CD in the drivers/modem/3com-usr directory that should work with most "WINMODEM"s.
