can anyone recommend a zip program or method that can compress a 80 mb file into 5 mb file? i am talking about compressing clonecd image file. thx
ADZIP is the most versitle zip program and is easy to use, but it cannot do what you are trying to do. I have to agree with Bob on this. This is a data cd burn project, then mail it

Depending on the data being compressed it it possible but not likely. I just compressed a 431mb file down to 215k. I can post the file if anyone cares to see. But honestly it's more of a trick then anything.
Winzip has the weakest compression algorithm out of any of the archivers I've ever used. If you want the best archiver (in my opinion) get Winrar from www.rarlab.com
Why do you need it down to 5mb? Is it because that's the largest attachment your isp will allow? If spit the file into 16 or so seperate files and send it that way. Winrar can do this for you.

When I said "16 or so seperate files" I should have said "at the most 16 or so seperate files". Winrar should knock the size down some.
