Reply: (edit)DotNow.com is about best of those free isps left providing national service. I use it as a backup. Never know when it will be down though. AMEXOL (same setup as former WebFlyer)is even better but you need to have some sort of an American Express card to sign up. After NetZero software recently screwed with my system enough to necessitate yet another reformat, I am paying $10 per month to PeoplePC.com for internet service. I didnt even bother downloading their software, just use my username@peoplepc.com and password in built in windows dial up connection. They'd rather you use their software, but dont absolutely require it. So far so good. They give first month free for you to try it out. $10 per month is just not that much to avoid hassle with buggy software, time limits, and time consuming reformats. Good luck.

Reply: (edit)Free isps will only work as good as your phone line will let them. Some will work better for you than they may for someone else. Some may work better at different times of the day or night. Try a few different ones and see what works best for you. www.netzero.com www.excite.com (Freelane) www.bluelight.com (Yahoo & K-Mart) www.juno.com

Reply: (edit)Hey noname Juno person. Tell me where on their site, they are offering it. I could only find the $9.95 and the $14.95 offers. Heard the $4.95 is by email invitation only and ended first of January. ATT does offer a $4.95 150hr isp, but it has ads and no number in my area.
