I am I am having a problem with some network cards
They are Realtek 8029 chipset in win98. I installed them and after a couple of days in the device manager they have a exclamation point on them and the error says"The NDIS.VXD, NTKERN.VXD device loader(s) for this device could not load the device driver. [code 2]. To fix this click update driver to update this device driver."
I have reinstalled the drivers several times and installed the newest drivers. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be deeply appreciated.

Is there more than one network card in the computer? Try to remove the network card in device manager and reboot.

Check to see if you have more than one win.com. If there are more than one
win.com file then you are booting the windows from the wrong dir and it
confuses the ranks. Make sure you have only one win.com file(usually c:\windows).

I'm having the same problem, please help. Thanks.
