Reply: (edit)Windows 95 is before eMachines, so I give up. What is a spare Windows 95? And what kind of processor are you trying to install it on? THere you will find your problem. You can avoid many of these Windows problems with Linux. Linspire eases the transition for new users

Reply: (edit)Is 95 and XP on the same drive? I hope they are on different partitions. Anyways - the computer is not finding the correct command.com for your system. You can put a Win 95 boot disk in drive A: and tell it to use that one in order to find the correct one one your computer. -OR- If Win95 and XP are on same machine, you can search for the Win95 command.com using XP, then edit the autoexec.bat's PATH or COMSPEC statement to reflect the correct location of the Win95 command.com. Reply: (edit)"... just to make it clear" Well, you haven't yet. Resist the temptation to close your request for help with semantically-null questions like “Can anyone help me?”
