this is on my parents computer which for some reason now gets many trojans(maybe cuz its windows98FE) but today when i tried to open a powerpoint for a school project, it wouldnt open until i dial-up and was connected to the internet it then opened just fine but it would not open if im not dialed-up even when i click cancel to dial-up-then powerpoint just hangs and i have to close it in ctrl+alt+del i ran avg for a while and it found a trojan which my mom was telling me somehting about when i got home a few hours ago anyway it said that it "healed it" this pp is due tommorrow and i was just finishing it tonight WTF?! im worried that it wont open at all on my teacher's computer and it happens on both the copy on my usb flash drive and on my harddrive! i emailed it to my partner on this project and he said it was messed up when hwe tried to open it and some program told him that it had an unhealable virus i scanned it as well as my entire usb flash drive but avg found nothing common sense isn't very common

if you can, remove the office progam, and reinstall it. that cures most problems

well, thats weird, it opened just fine on all the computers at my school even a laptop that wasnt online eventually i'll get Adaware and spybot updated and running on that comp i thought that was weird and i would just post it up here thanks uppercrust and Derek oh yeah, and i would reinstall office but i cant find those discs, i think my sister took them with her to college common sense isn't very common
