I dont know what I have done but I cant boot up my PC. It has changed everything to large icons (before i closed i changed it to the 1024 sertting in Display but its booting in the lowest setting), and it just hangs sometimes without fully booting, if gets to varying stages of the boot, sometimes nothing, just hangs, sometimes it gets to an error mesage that says cp.exe file cannot be found, but then freezes, sometimes it lets me click the ok for this error and i get another error much to the same something with the cp.exe, i click ok, and i then get another error that says the scheduler in microsoft works cannot be loaded, i click ok and sometimes the hour glass just hangs, sometimes i get past that and try and connect to the internet to be told that 'cyberpatrol' is preventing connection to the internet! then i get a message that says cannot find ecensus.ini file and quotes some ip addresses. PLEASE REPLY TP ANDIE.LAMBOURNE@BT.COM - i VERY MUCH APPRECIATE ANY HELP

Your Dad installed Cyber Patrol and you tried to remove it. Time to fess up? I wonder why he installed it in the first place? He forgot to properly train you in using a computer responsibly perhaps so it is his fault and not yours. Apologies if I am off base.

Sounds like your video driver is corrupted. Try removing it (in Add/Remove Hardware in control Panel) and then reboot the machine to force it to redetect it. Make sure you have driver disks before you do this !
