Well, i broke my old keyboard so i thought, why not just plug the USB one in but nooo, it won't work, and i can't get the old one to work either. Apparently you have to program the usb with a old keyboard like the bios crap. but guess what i can't get either keyboard to work. With the windows help menu i went to keyboard and it says it is working fine..but no it isn't and when i have the keyboard and mouse plugged in the mouse is messed up and lagging and the keyboard doesn't even work. so recap: old keyboard=not usb, doesn't work :new keyboard= usb not workING! ahhh stupid i went to Hp and downloaded 100000000 drivers and nothing anythoughts ...i have candy?

Paul,
Your kind of stuck so i'd suggest running down to closest PC repair shop and picking up a second hand keyboard to get you through this problem. I was picking up some RAM yesterday and knew a friend was having problems with his keyboard so i asked them how much they wanted for a second hand keyboard and they just gave one to me so i doubt you'd pay more than $5 for a used kepboard seeing as you can get a brand new one for $10-$15.
