So I'm probably not posting this in the right forum but every time I try install a font into my Fonts folder, it freezes, even after I've restarted the computer. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
If you've got TweakUI, you could try out the 'repair font folder' feature

I don't have TweakUI but I looked on the Microsoft site and there's a download available. I'll try that, thanks so much.
It's a great addition to most machines, and worth a try for your font problem - there are a few versions around, I believe v1.33 is the best for Win9x
