I don't know exactly what you mean by "bugged". And I also don't know if you mean the computer at your work or at home. If the computer you are speaking of is the one at work, and it is part of a network, circumventing surveillance by the network operator is impossible. You may get away with it for a short time by installing "cheats", but people like me are paid globs of money to make sure that security and monitoring continue unimpeded. If you are refering to your home computer, that is a different matter. The legal ramifactions of monitoring a home computer, by, say, installing a keyboard monitor and having the data uploaded to a companies server when the user logs on to the Internet, are truly horrifying. Aside from violating the constitution of virtually any democrating country, there is a litany of criminal charges, never mind the multi-million dollar law suit the victim could mount. That is not to say it could not be done at all. With a properly equipped van any computer monitor can be read from serveral hundred meters away. So unless you have been upto something that could cause the issuance of a warrant, or would cause your employer to spend the many, many thousands of dollars it requires to go the van route (van, equipment, and three techs), you have little to worry about when it comes to your home computer. As for your work place: welcome to the information age. you may just be a paranoid. |
