My computer does not boot after I F

Hi, Thanks! I reformated my computer, and i cant find my boot disk. When I turn the computer on it just goes to blacnk screen with a picture of a disk, which i assume it wants me to insert. Ive tried many boot disk, cant find the reall one, but boot disk for win 95 and 98 dont work. BIOS works ok, memmory check works, but it wants the recovery boot disk, which i dont have. Wats wrong with it? Please help me! pretty Please!

You should be able to boot from a floppy no matter what you have done to the harddrive. Check the BIOS settings and make sure that you have it set to boot from your floppy first.

Ok, it flashes the disk image and you put the disk in. Then what key do you press?
Is it an IBM?

has a section for IBM starter/reference disk
Download the one for you model and install on to diskette. It is a combination startup and BIOS configuration disk.
