when i try to open this it links to an autorun file in a game i downloaded.
i cannot find the original file that would be used to open the contents of c:drive in the usual windows browser.
could you advice me how to get the original or what that file is called?
please advice as it is a strange problem.

This isn't being caused by a file in the root directory called AutoRun?

You shouldn'y have ANY autorun files on your hard drive. Except the autorun.inf file IF you ahve a CD ROM burner. Other than that, delete it!

i removed the autorun
but it comes up with a msgbox"missing program file" and lists it as a autorun.exe file.
it has altered the win.ini file and i have lost the back up.
any idea where the problem might be?
