Comment:

Does 98 have any sort of music editing program on it? I suddenly had an urge to edit some music o.O . As far as I know, there isn't... And when looking online for something free, I couldn't find anything...
It would be greatly appreciated if anyone could tell me the whereabouts of a free music editor, if there is something already existing on my computer that will work.

Thanks.

Nothing on W98 as far as I know. If you happen to have Nero CD writing software on your machine there is a wave editor.

Just Googled using "free wave editor" and got quite a few hits. This is one:

sound forge, cool edit, Vegas are some that I know that are powerful but they cost a lot unless you dont mind other ways of obtaining a full version.

dBpowerAmp Music Converter is a good freebie for converting between .mp3 & .wav

It just adds to feature to the context menu so all you have to do is right click a music file to do the conversion. It will also do a block of files.
