Does anyone know if there is a software program that enables conversion from music CD format to MP3 or Wave format?

I agree, CDex is good.
Allow it to connect to the CDDB (CD Data base) so it inputs the song names and info. Then when it is converted to MP3 it will contain the ID3 tag info.
Also set it to convert at a bitrate of no less than 128kbps although 160kbps or more is for good quality.

Music Match is an excellent one too. But it's not free. Fast conversion and easy to use.
