Lately, I've been trying to install the latest 3dfx reference drivers in order to get a game running. While doing this, for a short while my PC thought I had two monitors hooked up (it had two monitor pics under the Settings tab in Display Properties.) While switching between several sets of drivers, it went back to one, but it *still* thinks I have two - the "Extend my desktop onto this monitor" checkbox is checked and grayed out, and the Standard VGA Adapter in the Device Manager has a warning that it won't work with multiple monitors enabled. I'd like to turn it off, but the checkbox stays grayed out no matter what drivers I have installed, or whatever else I've tried over the past couple days (believe me, I've tried everything short of hitting my computer with a sledgehammer!! :) Is there a way to get this turned off through some other means? (like editing an .INI file, for example.) Almost forgot, I have a Diamond Monster Fusion card, running on the Voodoo Banshee chip. Thanks!
