OK win98 ver 2 loaded, 2 pci video cards, one S3Virdge and on trident. Both boards are recognized by win98 and properly installed, (or it sems). Using one plug n play compatible monitor 17" and one 15 in standard VGA, both are engery star compliant. NOw I can use either car with either monitor wih out any problems singly, I can also use any combination of monitor and card, and use the primary vidoe card monitor set, and system runs fine, enabling the second monitor/video card set results in the same effect. everything if fine except the second display! I can manipulate the desktop icons to the second screen, but immages on the second screen are any thing from multiple ghosts to tinny lines accross the screens depending on the resolutions. It doent appear to be an interferance problem, since it only happens to the monitor set up as #2, with out changing the physicial positions of the mnitors, ( I am making the asumption that changing the set up it self should not change which monitor is effected by the interferance by the other monitor) According to the Microsoft support page both these cards should be able to do this multiple monitor set up usng the native win98 drivers, which I am...... any other suggestions?
