hi all,
i have here a PSION DACOM Gold Card 56k+Fax (multi-function PC card) in my laptop. now, when i will add.install a modem my pcmcia card could not detected as modem but it was detected in my system as pcmcia device... Can I use this pc card as a Modem? if yes ,please help me to setup.or if its need a driver pls tell me where can i download.

plainandsimple thanks so much but i find hard installing with it...my card is automatically detected by windows but its not a modem but a pcmcia devices and no modem add..so i tried to manually add modem using the driver that i downloaded. and im using com1 coz its only the port available. and when i diagnosed my modem it says:The modem failed to respond.Make sure it is properly connected and turned on.If it is an internal modem or is connected,verify that the interrupt for the port is properly set."

btw,how to add another port (ex. com2 0r com 3) since the pcmcia modem wont detect automatically.

..it is a zipped .INF file.

..go to add new modem and point it to the .INF file you have just unzipped

still wont work. . .the same problem occured.i dnt know what happend on this...i wouldnt detect as pcmcia modem...thanks anyway.
